Ο Τζάκσον αρχικά αποφάσισε να κάνει μια ταινία μικροÏ μήκους σε Ïφος γουÎστερν. ΩστÏŒσο, αργÏŒτερα αποφάσισε να αλλάξει το Ïφος σε νυχτερινÏŒ κÎντρο διασκÎδασης της δεκαετίας του 1930.
